Ballet-inspired outfits for little princesses

One of my favourite parts about my line of work is receiving photos of your little girls in pieces from Minouche. Last week I was lucky enough to receive not one, but a lovely bunch of photos from Gina (@ggiampagrimm, if you're on Instagram I highly recommend you follow her).   These photos show the Encore leotard and the tulle maxi skirt, both in blush (they also come in a charcoal/black).  They were taken at Balboa Park in San Diego, California...which now looks like another place I need to add on to the list for our (still imaginary) road trip our family is taking in a year or two. Thank you, Gina! xoxo PS If you like this look, you can...

Minouche Spring 2016 - simple and lovely clothing for girls

While we are all shivering away (in my part of the world, anyway) production has just started on my Spring collection – and I cant wait to show you all the pretty pieces coming for your little girls. It’s a little bit of a departure for me – having launched in August last year it’s only my fifth collection, and to say it’s been a massive learning curve would be an understatement (particularly with regards to sourcing fabric which is a story for whole other blog post). Minouche in Milk Magazine 'Look De Rue'

It was such a treat to see Minouche featured in Milk Magazine's Look De Rue recently!   I'm always keeping an eye on the Look de Rue posts because the images are so beautiful, the children so lovely and the clothing so covetable - so to see my own pieces included was an absolute dream come true!  A huge thank you to Lois Moreno who was responsible for the beautiful imagery - she has a stunning blog, Queen Charlotte, that is well worth a visit.

Minouche Winter 2016 - lookbook shoot

Earlier this week I partnered up with my lovely friend, Shannon Rawnsley (of Shannon Elise Photography) to create some images for the website and the Winter 2016 lookbook.  For the Winter 2016 collection I have tried, as usual, to create pieces that are both simple and lovely - nothing too fussy, frilly or flouncy.  The collection includes a few styles of dresses - because little girls love them, and they are so easy to wear. There will also be a some pants for cooler weather - great with a sweater - along with sweet coordinating blouses.  Also included will be a couple of surprises! As this collection is a smaller, mid-season collection, most of the pieces coordinate back to the Autumn pieces. It...

Minouche on Polka Dot Bride

If you've been a bride (or bridesmaid) in the past few years, no doubt you've paid Polka Dot Bride a visit (or fifty!) Australia's most loved wedding blog has provided much inspiration to myself and my friends over the years, so I was so, so delighted to see Minouche featured on the Polka Dot Bride blog recently. When designing dresses, I love to create pieces that can be worn as special occasion pieces - but are still comfortable (and simple) enough to be worn on a day to day basis.   I've always thought many Minouche dresses, or the playsuits with the addition of a tutu, would be perfect for a casual backyard, country or beach wedding - and Im so glad Polka...
