Spring looks for girls - 70s style

The 70s are most certainly having a bit of a moment right now, and I must say its one of my favourite decades for childrenswear.  Bold prints and play-friendly styles combine to make the perfect wardrobe for stylish little adventurers.

Here are my favourite Spring picks celebrating amazing 70s style that have caught my eye in recent weeks.

I've dressed my girls in Rock Your Baby for years - on trend prints that both kids and babies love in high-quality soft jersey that lasts...and lasts.  This season there are so many amazing 70s looks to choose from but some of the standouts are the Jean Peter Pan Waisted Dress ($59), the Flower Power Dress ($55) and the Squad Goals TShirt ($44).

All the way from Spain, Bobo Choses has offered some amazing 70s inspired pieces - the cupro maxi skirt ($115) would look amazing with pretty much any colour t-shirt and the baby Faux Faur Vest ($134) is ideal for tricky trans-seasonal weather.  If you're stuck on 70s style and looking for an investment piece to pass down from child to child, the Faux Fur Jacket is perfect. The Faux Fur Belt ($54) is a ton of fun and is a great way to add some 70s luxe style to an otherwise simple dress.

From the high street, Seed have brought us these Floral Print Overalls, which remind me of old school wallpaper, in the best possible way.

For some 70s style that wont make too much of a dent in your bank account, both Cotton On Kids and Best & Less are killing it this season.

Cotton On Kids have some amazing jumpsuits in our favourite earthy 70s shades, as well as some folk-inspired blouses that are super pretty without being prissy.

And Best & Less have the cutest pinafores in a wide wale corduroy (you really cant do 70s without cord) and some retro-inspired top and pant sets that my girls are obsessed with.

To top off the look you cant go past the Wildflower sunglasses from Bonnie + Harlo ($20) - these will add a dose of 70s style to anything your little one wears (and you can pretty much guarantee she will love them!)
