I'm so pleased to finally be able to share with you the beautiful images Elle Rampling took for my Autumn/Winter 17 campaign - the images are spectacular, as are all the girls we were lucky enough to have participate in the shoot (thank you, girls!)
Last Winter was un-seasonally mild and short (in my neck of the woods, anyway), so for this season I tried to create pieces that are, in the majority, trans-seasonal - sleeveless dresses that can be worn with our without a long-sleeved t-shirt underneath; lightweight denim pants that can be worn with a tee in summer or a sweater and coat in cooler weather.
As a mother, I know that when we shop for our little girls we like to find clothing that can be worn in more than one season - nothing worse than packing away a favourite outfit at the end of a season then getting it out a year later to find it no longer fits! So most of these pieces are not only good through Autumn and Winter, but many can be worn through Spring and Summer also.
I've also designed more items with a more relaxed fit through the body, so they fit for longer (although they might get shorter!); and use fabrics that require minimal or no ironing...because I know you'd rather be doing something else than hanging out behind an ironing board!
